Train Talent is proud to announce that we have successfully secured Skills Bootcamp funding from Somerset Council for 2026–2027, further strengthening our commitment to developing a skilled, job-ready workforce across the region.
This funding will enable us to deliver a series of industry-focused training programmes designed to support both individuals and employers within key sectors.
Supporting Skills Development in High-Demand Sectors
Through the Skills Bootcamp programme, Train Talent will deliver targeted training in:
- HVAC Training & Ducting Installation
- CCAQ (Concrete Coating Applicator Qualification)
- Industrial Coatings
- Caulking
- Firestopping & Passive Fire Protection
These programmes are designed to address critical skills shortages while providing learners with practical, hands-on experience aligned to real-world industry requirements.
Creating Opportunities for Learners and Employers
The Skills Bootcamps will support:
- Individuals looking to enter or progress within the construction and industrial sectors
- Employers seeking to upskill existing staff or recruit trained, competent workers
By focusing on workforce readiness, competency and compliance, the programme ensures participants are equipped to perform safely and effectively in operational environments.
Strengthening Regional Workforce Capability
This funding reinforces Train Talent’s role as a key training provider within Somerset, supporting local industry and major infrastructure projects through:
- Workforce upskilling and onboarding
- Rapid mobilisation training
- Industry-aligned, safety-critical training delivery
Delivered from our Bridgwater Training Centre, the programme will provide accessible, high-quality training for learners across the region.
