Booking Terms & Conditions

We want your booking with us to run as smoothly as possible. To provide a great level of service to all our clients and delegates, we have some terms and conditions that you will need to agree to when booking. These terms and conditions offer a level of protection to both you and our business.

Our training courses can be booked over the phone, via email or online platform. Bookings will be provisional until full payment or intention of payment in the form of Purchase Order is received. We require payment/purchase order prior to attendance. VAT will be charged on all courses at the prevailing rate where applicable.

Payment is required no later than seven (7) days before the course takes place. Paid Invoice/Official Receipt and Joining Information will then be issued.

When we accept and confirm your booking from this point regard it as a legally binding agreement between both parties. We accept that in some circumstances things do change and require cancellations, substitutions, or transfers to be requested in writing (email is acceptable).

In the event of a cancellation or postponement, any request must be made in writing with a minimum of seven (7) day notice. This allows us the opportunity to re-use the date.

All open course bookings based at Train Talent Scunthorpe facility, will require a written request of seven (7) working days before the course is due to take place, to postpone the place/s.

For block and bespoke training, Train Talent require the request in writing ten (10) working days before.

Training can be postponed once and must be agreed, and the course must be undertaken within three (3) months of the original course date.

Period of notice commences at the time Train Talent receives the written confirmation.

Train Talent requires payment in order to confirm your booking. We accept credit/debit card payments. We are fully integrated with Stripe, allowing you to pay online once we send you an invoice.

Clients, Learners and Delegates will be required to make payment upon booking their course. Until payment is made a booking is not confirmed.

All delegates are required for the full duration of the course. Any delegates arriving later than scheduled with no prior notice may be refused entry without refund.

Certificates or refunds are not issued to candidates that do not complete the course.

Train Talent accept no responsibility for any property or equipment left unattended or overnight. Vehicles are parked at the owner’s risk and Train Talent accepts no responsibility for damage to vehicles parked on site.

Drugs and alcohol are prohibited and must not be taken on site; nor must anyone under their influence attend events at any of Train Talent’s training facilities.

We reserve the right to ‘test for cause’ and also carry out a number of random tests during Train Talent business activities. Anyone found to be under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol will be removed from the site for further examination.

No fees will be refunded and in the case of an employer’s arrangements, Train Talent will report the event in full to any individual who is the subject of a failed test.

All delegates and Technical Trainers must observe site safety rules and procedures at all times.

PPE required will be stated in joining instructions and must be worn as specified in certain locations.

PPE requirements will be outlined and stated by the relevant Technical Trainer, entry to any areas where PPE is required but the delegate doesn’t have this may result in the cancellation of a course. This will result in the relevant cancellation charges.

Learners/delegates are required to bring their own PPE such as Safety Helmet, Safety Glasses and Safety boots with ankle protection. Disposal cover all and gloves (if required) will be provided for the duration of the course.
